This course will focus on three project portfolio management models developed by financial companies from around the world. After a brief introduction to project portfolio management you will be presented with an overview of the financial industry including current the state of affairs, trends and forecasts. Next, we will examine the following cases:

• Western European Bank
• North American Brokerage
• Eastern European Bank

We will describe company challenges, resulting strategies, scoring, portfolio balance and strategic alignment models. At the end of the workshop we will attempt to compare the PPM models created by the organizations in question and examine whether they align with the overall industry outlook.
